Among the many causes of gas on our list, of course, we needed to have the good old carbonated drinks. They contribute to an increase of gas because they make you swallow more air, and when you swallow air, it gets in your digestive tract, and it has to be eliminated somehow.
This is why you tend to burp a lot whenever you drink soda. The solution here would be to choose non-carbonated drinks instead, like fruit juice, water, or even tea.
