5. More energy

We know what you are thinking. “Sugar is what gives me energy!” And that’s true, but also not a reliable source of energy. The reason for it is because sugar is a simple carbohydrate, which means it’s digested quickly, providing that sudden energy you might feel.

But unfortunately, that energy won’t last for long. And of course, consuming sugar now and then is not exactly the best option when it comes to your health. So what you can do is opt for food or drinks with protein and healthy fats. Take almonds as an example. They are not only healthy, but a couple of them will make you feel full and satisfied.

Accepting sugar as your main source of energy is just another lie your brain is trying to trick you into believing. So don’t let it fool you!

We don’t want you obsessing over sugar percentages on everything you eat or have in your kitchen. At least 80% of your food as sugar, so you can believe our word for it and stop worrying about it so much.

You should take sugar into consideration on your next visit to the supermarket and choose fruit over candy or bread over chocolate cereals. As for the Oreos you already have in your home, you can still eat them, just not the whole package in a day.

As long you’re maintaining normal blood pressure and a healthy diet, you shouldn’t fear any future health complications because you’re taking care of your body.

It’s also essential to do some blood analysis at least once or twice a year so you can check how your body is doing and work on maintaining normal healthy levels!
