#5 – Allergy to antibiotics
Ironically enough, you can be allergic to antibiotics!
If you are allergic to antibiotics such as sulfonamides or penicillin, you can experience symptoms like rash, swelling, hoarse voice, throat tightness, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, hives, and breathing problems, one hour after taking the antibiotic medicine.
Allergic reactions are mostly considered as “side effects” of antibiotic medicine rather than allergies.
Antibiotic allergy treatment includes stopping the antibiotic drugs you take and taking antihistamines to reduce symptoms like rash and itchiness.
Other very rare allergies include allergy to human touch, sunlight, sperm, and alcohol. See your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms after using a product, it could be the last allergy you can expect!
