#8 – You Are an Infant
Toddlers and babies aged less than 2 years are also at high risk for developing flu complications. The CDC warns parents to watch out for the signs of a secondary infection in kids, such as avoiding liquids, having a fever with a rash, extreme irritability, a bluish skin tone, or difficulty breathing.
Also, if you notice that your baby’s flu symptoms improve but then worsen with a cough or fever, make sure to call the doctor right away.
