6. Faucet handles and door handles

The same logical approach used in the previous point also applies to handles in public areas.

Usually, cleaning services are extra careful and disinfect faucet handles and door handles in public spaces very often. This keeps the germs from building up on these surfaces.

However, you should always wash your hands and avoid touching the handles whenever possible – use your elbow to turn off the faucet and open the doors. Oh, and wrap your dominant hand in disposable paper before using a gas pump!
