#6 – Paget’s Disease

This is a slow progressing condition in which the bones seem to fail to grow properly. For people who are affected, their bones might become large, weak and oddly shaped. Primarily, this disease tends to affect the skull, the spine, the pelvis or the extremities.

It is rare for Paget’s disease to spread to more than one area, so if it affects your skull, your spine will probably remain healthy. This disease tends to disappear, but the damage it does to the bones is irreversible.
