#3 – Lupus
Lupus is an autoimmune disease, that is also chronic, and when people are affected by this condition, multiple organs are affected, which can ultimately lead to pain joint and swelling.
There are other symptoms – patients who suffer from lupus often mention that they feel fatigued, that they feel sensitive to sunlight, and a rash shaped like a butterfly can appear on the bridge of their noses.
There are drugs available to manage the symptoms, but in advanced stages, there is a strong need to prescribe immunosuppressive agents in order to prevent further organ damage.
