What Types Of Fabrics Should You Avoid?

There are various types of synthetic fabrics that can be used on towels, shirts, underwear, and breathable fabric for bedding, among other articles that are treated with chemicals during and after processing.

However, these chemicals that are used in production processes leak into the environment and leave a negative impact everywhere: on water, land, air, fauna and can also be directly absorbed and inhaled by humans…and, of course, are very bad for your health. They are:

Polyester is one of the most used and popular fabrics in the world but it is also one of the worst fabrics for the skin and we will show you why.
Although it is produced with a blend of natural components, such as cotton (to prevent wrinkles and tears and to have stronger colors and longer durability), its effect on your health, particularly the skin, can be lethal. Let’s see:

Polyester Poisoning Symptoms

Using polyester causes allergies and skin irritation and can cause a variety of health problems such as:

• Skin irritation (redness, dryness, itching, swelling, blistering)

• Skin rashes.

• Eczema.

• Dermatitis.

• Among others…

Polyester is undoubtedly one of the fabrics to avoid with eczema or other skin allergies and that is why it should not be used on your bedding either. Some reasons for not doing so:

o Carries carcinogens with you … and can even lead to skin cancer.

o Causes respiratory infections.

o Causes skin problems or worsen existing skin problems.

o Alters sperm count in men … and, in extreme situations, cause impotence.

o Affects immune systems, especially those of children.

o It takes more than two lives to biodegrade.

o Does not take care of your body during sleep or help you to rest properly.
