Another of the weird pooping habits that most people are unaware of is related to the menstrual cycle.
When menstruation starts, the woman’s body releases hormones (known as prostaglandins) that help the uterus to become more contracted, and this also affects the proper functioning of the intestines.
When there is an overproduction of this type of hormones, they end up entering the bloodstream. This stimulates smooth muscle cells in the intestines, which makes you more willing to poop.
