If you are someone who is not used to go through mood swings, a lack of emotional stability can be a neurological consequence of low blood sugar. You can experience random crying, that can sometimes get hysterical, or feel uncontrollably hungry.
You might even experience irrational outbursts that cause this intense desire to want to be left alone. These mood swings tend to be kind of extreme.
However, if you are feeling general irritability, or think of yourself as someone with a short temper, this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be worried about possible emotional outburst that might be caused by hypoglycemia.
